| Description | Southern Community Justice Centre operates three separate Services which provide free assistance to the community. These Services provide different types of assistance, have different catchment areas and operate from various office locations. |

Generalist Legal Service The Generalist Legal Service provides initial advice and referral to most people residing or working in the southern and inner southern regions of Adelaide and Mt Barker. Ongoing legal assistance, including court representation, is provided free to eligible clientele. Telephone interviews are usually provided to those unable to attend our offices in person. After hours consultations are available by appointment. Legal Offices operate from Christies Beach and Warradale. Outreach Offices operate from Mount Barker and possibly Victor Harbor. Child Support Service The Child Support Service provides free specialist assistance in most areas of child support to residents in most areas of South Australia, including country regions. Ongoing assistance, including court representation, is provided free to eligible clientele. Telephone interviews are provided for country callers, for those unable to attend our offices in person or upon request. After hours consultations are available by appointment. The Child Support Service operates from our offices at Christies Beach and Warradale. Outreach Offices operate from Mount Barker and Victor Harbor. Community Mediation Services Neighbourhood Dispute Service Community Mediation Services is a free Service available to most residents in the State of South Australia, including country regions. The Mediation Service assists people to resolve their neighbourhood disputes without engaging the costly and adversarial legal system. Assistance is provided in a number of other civil disputes. The Service operates offices throughout the State of South Australia, including: Adelaide City Angle Park Christies Beach Elizabeth Warradale Initial consultation is usually via telephone. If required, in person consultation can be provided. In person mediations are provided. After hours consultations are available by appointment.
